treatment for stress ?

I went to 2 doctors about stomach aches and feling like throwing up, and they checked me and stuff and my blood and my health is normal. they said that its all stress related. how can i deal with that? are there pills i can take? i can’t stop the stress because i always have lots of anxiety and its just normal to me, but it was never physical. what can i do?!

I had the same thing, and I work with people who have these symptoms as well. I suggest finding out what is stressing you out and make some major changes in your life. Life is too short to be stressing out over BS.

    There are plenty of things people say you can do without medication to stop that, but none of them ever worked for me so I can’t comment on those, but they do work for some people. You could try talking to your doctor about getting on anti anxiety meds for a little while and see if that helps, I have anxiety and mood swings and just decided to try everything I could before getting prescription meds, so I looked up this herbal remedy(which I typically DON’T believe in) called Kava Kava and if you look it up, you might be convinced to try it too. I started taking it a few times a day about a week ago, and there is a noticeable difference to me in my anxiety levels and irritability. It really calmed me down a lot, I don’t get annoyed as much anymore and I actually feel CALM most of the time, it’s been pretty cool, though I have felt kind of sad for the past couple of days, so I am cutting out a dose and see if that helps, but really, research it and if you want to try it, you can get it at places like GNC or any natural health food stores or weird places like that. Give it a few days or a couple of weeks, I noticed a pretty substantial difference by day three, but some people don’t for weeks. Anyway, if that doesn’t work or if you don’t want to try it, there’s nothing wrong with getting on meds if you need them. Good luck!!:)

    I believe there could be two things affecting you.

    One is I think you may have a particular food intolerance. This may be something new to you and doctors don’t treat for it, but it can give some people "mental" and anxiety type conditions. This is why it is not showing up in the blood tests. It could also be causing you stomach pains and to throw up - although that part of it could also be from something else.

    You need to eliminate any particular food one at a time for 3-4 days and see if there is any difference in the way you feel. Then start on the drinks you have, eliminating one at a time for 3-4 days again. Keep doing that, one at a time, until you find the culprit. Keep a record of what you are eating and how you feel.

    The other thing could be that you have a nutrient or vitamin deficiency. In your case it sounds like you could have a Vitamin B12 deficiency.

    The symptoms of this are;
    Difficulty in concentration and remembering, stuporous depression, severe agitation, hallucinations, manic or paranoid behaviour.

    I know you don’t have all of the symptoms, but you sound like you have always had severe agitation (anxiety).

    There are other vitamins and nutrients that could also help.

    Stress is not just a mental problem. It also affects many different parts of our bodies. Sure there are pills to help but you also need to address the issues that are causing the stress with a therapies.

    A lot of anxiety isn’t normal. It can be dealt with by talking about your problems. Sometimes, we do not see things in our lives as problems because we have been living with them so long. Or, we think that we have the answer to dealing with them.

    A therapies can help you see though all of your thinking and start making good decisions. That alone without meds can help relieve the stomach pains that you are dealing with.

    Good luck to you my dear.
