vernal13: Omegas are great and the exercise is also good. Try a natural blend-type formula of anxiety herbs called panicyl. Works great for me and has allowed me to get of xanax.
References :
http://www.panicyl.com

You want alpha liponic acid, it does cross the blood-brain barrier and cleans heavy metals out of brain.

Rescue remedy from Bach does work for me. I guess it will for you.

What I want to recommend is to learn kinesology/o-ring testing. You can check any supplement by making the ok-sign with one hand and also with ring of the other thumb and forefinger try to push the ring apart. Closed means yes, it opens= no. I write this message testing the supplements for you, but much better is developing this "technique" for yourself/do your own testing.

In the homeopathic list above Arsenic album, Aurum metallicum and Ignatia stand out for you. In that order.

PMS means low serotonin. I recommend reading the Mars and Venus diet and exercise solution by John Gray for understanding brain chemistry.

I leave it there, Good luck!

PS I get a yes on the evening primrose oil. (Also on diazepam so that may be neccesary for awhile..)
References :
a good vitamin B complex is excellent for anxiety and stress. there are lots of B vitamins, it's better to take them all in a complex rather than a particular one. they work on your nervous system and will help you to relax and destress, ask your pharmacist or health food shop assistant for advice on a good brand. when i'm stressed i take vitamin B with magnesium which is also said to be good for anxiety.

eating perfectly and working out it great for you too - i'm just wondering do you consume a lot of caffeine (including tea, coffee, chocolate, coke, soda and any other caffinated drinks) or sugar (including alcohol, junk food, refined carbs like pizza, white bread/pasta/rice) as these things will make you feel worse. even if you do not eat enough throughout the day this can make you feel anxious due to low blood sugar, it's incredibly important for your mental health to keep your blood sugars balanced.

it can also help to make sure you're taking in enough oils like omega 3 and 6. for more information there is a great book you can pick up pretty easily called New Optimum Nutrition for the Mind by Patrick Holford. I wrote a big post about all the things that helped me get through my own anxiety problems here: http://www.anxietyforum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4087 i hope this helps and bif and that you're feeling better soon xx
