what are some types to cope with nervousness herbs or otherwise?

I would like to know some ideas for coping with nervousness and stress

"Calms" by Highland brand sold at Wal-mart or any vitamin/nutrition store. Non-addictive, all natural, safe enough to give to children. Great to use for nervous tension, PMS symptoms, or insomnia. Have used them, as needed, for years and they are still my favorite. I am using them right now becauce I am trying to quit smoking and it helps take the edge off of my nerves. Also, they are very inexpensive! Good Luck!

Try bio-feed back. Make sure you get a good practitioner. Ask about their training.

You can buy Kava Kava, St Johns Wart and Valerian. If you are already on antidepressants-don’t take kava kave or St Johns Wart. Plus, please be aware that Valerian can make you a little tired at first. I wouldn’t take a combination of the three though. That could be real dangerous to your health.
Valerian acts much like a "nerve" pill, but isn’t physically dependent. They also help you sleep at night. Used to, people used Valerian all the time.

If you are getting nervous in anticipation of a particular event, a first date, presentation in front of strangers etc… a good way to get rid of some nervous energy so that you don’t shake or stammer as much is to press against a wall as hard as you can. If this isn’t possible and you’re seated, grab the seat and pull or push it, tensing all of your muscles and release.

To help deal with stress, try some cardio exercise. I get really nervous and stressed and this probably won’t ever change, but since I’ve taken up jogging things have been easier. I also haven’t been getting sick after particularly stressful times in my life.

valerian root pills worked very well for me when I was going to be in a situation that would make me nervous.
Bach’s Rescue Remedy is good to take everyday to help balance out your mood and make you calm. And it doesn’t make you feel weird, or like you’re not yourself.
Good luck, I know it’s hard having bad anxiety.
Also, a good healthy diet helps!
