you can always try getting at least 8 hours of sleep every night, avoid smoking & alchol, eat 3 well-balanced meals and get moderate excersize daily. Also try to get out into the fresh air and sunshine for at least 20-30 minutes a day. All of these suggestions together may help. good luck.

I am here to share with you that there are natural supplements out there that help alleviate stress/depression. I have researched a natural antioxidant that works wonderful for several different health challenges. This particular product is isotonic, which mean that it comes in powder and you mix it with water. It is 90-95 % absorbed into your body within 15 Min’s. it is wonderful and I feel very cost affective. if you would like to know more about this, feel free to email me at karenasmith@comcast.net. I would be more than happy to share more in depth with you.

There are many different ways you can try. One way that will have immediate effects and it is free is learning breathing techniques.
Have you heard of Buteyko Breathing?
It was developed for respiratory problems such as Asthma, bronchitis and emphysema, but it also addresses over 100 other illnesses, stress and depression are two of them.
Go to your library or on-line and ask or type in Buteyko breathing techniques. The book I read, published in London is Breathing Free by Teresa Hale. She founded the Hale clinic which practices Buteyko breathing.

5HTP (5 hydroxytryptophan) will increase serotonin. Protein has amino acids which help with food cravings, relaxation, moods, sleeping and energy and focus. A serving of fish, eggs, chicken or beef should be eaten with each meal to maintain a healthy serotonin level. Exercise also increases serotonin levels. Check out this website:

You could consider Reiki. I have used this to help people with Depression. Its soothing and safe. Do not be put off by the "spiritual" aspect of it. There is no need to have any particular beliefs to benefit from it.
